Amen to that - I enjoy my workouts much more when they are later in the day, which means i'm more likely to do them...

I love evening workouts, a class after work for example, really helps me unwind.

For me it's morning - gets me going for the day, and i don't have to worry about trying to fit it in later when i'm tired and stressed.

I think there's good research that people who do morning workouts skip their workouts less often - i guess there's a lot less to get in the way...

Bottom line has to be whichever time works for you - we can't conform to someone elses schedule. Just do it!

Research suggests that we are at our best (strongest etc) around mid-afternoon (3:00 pm). Probably not an issue for most people - convenience should be what determines when you work out.
