    Hi all, im new to this site so I hope this post works!?!

     I used to get through the day drinking lots of tea and coffe at work, I thought id try cutting them both out (well almost!) and just drink plenty of water. This has made me feel so much better, less headaches, more energy, better skin etc... I read you are supposed to drink about 2ltr of water every day, I now probably drink more than this, is there a maximum amount of water we should be drinking? what harm could too much water do to us?

    That's great!  You really can't drink too much water - as long as you are eating properly too you'll just have to pee more often.

    I'm sure i'd just pee all day, but it coudln't hurt, could it?

    I don't know about too much, but I do agree with you about the effects of drinking more water - i just feel so much better, my digestion improves, skin too, all that stuff.

    Generally, the lighter in colour your pee is, the better off you are - so lots of water is great.  I'm pretty sure that as long as you're feeling good you should be fine...just make sure you're eating right.

    The other thing to remember is that you get lots of water if you eat plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables.

    I think worrying about too much water is just so irrelevant for most people - too little is the concern.
