    My friend lost over 40 lbs, but then it started to creep back on.  She kept a food diary and was soon able to figure out where the extra calories were coming from.  i think if you are trying to lose weight and keep it off, this is something that would really help.

    when i needed to lose weight a few years ago I kept a food diary and it really helped.

    I think that would be so helpful when you're trying to lose weight.

    I started to keep a training diary a while back, it really helps me to keep track of my workouts.

    my friend went to a trainer he had her do that, she was gobsmacked at how much she was actually eating!

    It's like a contract with yourself, isn't it?  I mean if you can't be honest with yourself about what you eat, you're in real trouble.
