I've heard that we should drink about 2.5 litres of water every day as a way of cleansing our bodies and also providing the fluids we need.
I take it that this doesn't include tea, coffee or other drinks laden with caffeine and other additives.
Tea etc count as your 2.5 litres, so you dont have to down lots of water, although it might make you feel better.
This 2 litre rule in society is actually a myth. There was a BBC docu/report the other week, which showed the paper this initial statement came from. Unfortuantely, companies hopped onto this, but failed to see the remaining statements that most of the water comes from the food we eat daily (i.e: fruit, veg, even processed foods to an extent).
Whilst drinking water probably aids the body over time, I've read a few reports that its not overly neccassary to drink just water. It's probably better for your teeth though than drinking coke anf fruit juices constantly!
well I guess that depends on your age and weight ..

We have all heard of the same old saying are we drinking enough water? tea, coffe has caffine in and maybe they swear by the water pure and simple, it sometimes is off putting no flavour so maybe try and get flavoured water if you can stand the sweetners or mix orange diluted with water.
