Is there any point in women taking creatine?
  • Re: Creatine for women

It's for building big muscles, isn't it?  why would a woman want to take it?
  • Re: Creatine for women

I guess it depends on your goals - if you want to add a bit of muscle, or you're training hard for a particular sport, then why not?
  • Re: Creatine for women

    Hi:

There certainly is - most women bodybuilders take it, as do many women athletes and sport women.  Many women struggle to add bulk, so creatine can make a difference for them.

  • Re: Creatine for women

I swear by it - helps me really push hard in my workouts.
  • Re: Creatine for women

It's not my thing, but one of my friends has started training hard with weights and she swears by it.
  • Re: Creatine for women

    That sounds pretty hardcore!
  • Re: Creatine for women

In some ways I think it's even more important for women if they want to grow - their hormones are against them, so they should taek advanatge of every (legal) help they can use.
  • Re: Creatine for women

    Isn't that a bit sexist?
  • Re: Creatine for women

I don't think it is - i mean it is hard for women to build muscles isn't it?
  • Re: Creatine for women

I can't imagine why any girl would want to build big muscles.
  • Re: Creatine for women

Hey, it's whatever works for you as an individual - if a girl wants to get strong, all power to her.
  • Re: Creatine for women

I don't know any women that have used - isn't creatine for muscle growth and quick recovery from working out?
  • Re: Creatine for women

A lot of women athletes use it - body builders, pro tennis players etc.
