Re: Plantar pain?
I had pain in the ball of my foot, it was from wearing heels for work that were too tight and squished my toes together!

Re: Plantar pain?
it's very common, especially in runners and dancers. the key symptom is if it's worse in the morning. you have to ice it and stretch it out - several times a day to start with. sit on the floor with your leg out straight, put a towel around your toes and pull them towards you -you should feel the stretch in your arch. it will hurt a bit to start with but will get better.

Re: Plantar pain?
I had that when i started running more, but i stretched it several times a day - incredibly painful at first - and within about three weeks it had pretty much resolved. i now stretch it regularly to keep it away - don't want that again!

My friend had this on and off for years - said it was really painful. then she started using some special stetching thing, at a an angle, really helped.
