Re: Christmas advice
I can so relate to that. I work on the priciple of working really hard leading up to christmas (a bit of a diet, more exercise), then when christmas hits i find i don't want to go crazy and undo all the good work, so i hold back a bit, but still know i can enjoy myself and not end up looking like an elephant by new year!

Re: Christmas advice
I pick a few things i'm going to really enjoy (for example christmas dinner) and don't stress about those, but don't let it turn into one long binge fest!

It's a tough time of year, isn't it? I'm one of those who favours extra workouts beforehand, then relax a bit over Christmas- oh, and watch the alcohol, it's packed with calories.

Run! If you run 25-30 mins every other day over the holidays you'll have a hard time putting on too much weight.

Re: Christmas advice
You can enjoy yourself, but just don't go crazy - just because you ate a big meal doesn't mean you've failed and therefore go off the rails. Eat a bit less the next day and save yourself for the next party or whatever.
