    hi can anyone tell me what effects amino acids have on the body and when the best time to take them

    Amino acids are the building blocks of protein.  They are therefore essential for everyone.  If you are working out regularly, you need amino acids in order to build muscle.  you can buy them in their broken down form, but any good quality protein will have them.

    Protein takes a while to digest, so a lot of people take a protein supplement before their workout, because the protein needs to be in your system at the end of your workout if you are going to grow.

    If you're eating a good healthy diet, with plenty of meat, fish and so on, you'll be getting all you need.

    You can buy them on their own, but they're quite expensive.
