Hi All, I do quite a lot of sport and exercise during the week and of course enjy it immensely. I would like to train a bit harder over the summer and into the Autumn - can anyone suggest some general sports supplements that I would benefit from?

It really depends what your goals are. If you are looking to build some muscle, then I'd certainly recommend creatine, it is highly effective and has no major side-effects.
Another recommendation worth considering is to look at your protein intake. Without getting overly technical, increased protein intake can help to build muscle and reduce body fat.
The other supplement I've found effective is L-glutamine, an amino acid that appears to enhance muscle recovery and strength.

Yeah I thought that would be the natural route - can anyone recommend a good multivit as opposed to a bad one?
You can't go too far wrong if you look at reputable names like Holland and Barrett, Boots, etc. One of other of the big names is usually having a sale so it's worth shopping around a bit.
